After 3-4 months of trying to post and having trouble with blogger...I've finally come around to Halloween.
We LOVE Halloween around our place. The summer months are filled with comments of what each of them is thinking about being for the big event.
I make them give their final vote in the September.
That way I will have time to sew or gather costume parts.
A certain 8 year old is mildly obsessed with Harry Potter since she tackled her first HP novel.
Hermione it is.
This little spook just wants to be like her sister. . . only she requested that she be "a fluffy witch - not a scary witch, like the ones that have green faces."

Although I don't she could be scary, even with a green face.
He's almost too old, he says.
That's a bunch of phooey, I say.
So he'll go cool...a football player, like his buddy in the neighborhood.
Fine.
But, you're never too old to dress up, I say.
Shadows of Shane and I as we headed out trick-or-treating.
The masses wanted Buddy the Elf again.
It's been done folks.
Time to move on.

Even if teenagers scoff at you as you take your kids around for tricks and treats.
They think they know everything.
