Her latest little chant. She crawls and makes this noise.

What a ham.

10 months

As of Sunday the 24th, this baby girl is 10 months old. Oh how the time flies. She loves her baths and her bottle.

She barks like a puppy when you hand her a stuffed animal. She's starting to pull herself up on things to stand.
She has 6 teeth, and I believe she's getting more, since she's had a yucky nose and a fever all week.
We (meaning the kids and I) argue over who is going to get her out of her bed. I mostly always win. I love seeing her grinning from ear to ear when I open the bedroom door.

After church

After church she pulled her headband down around her eyes. She just kept crawling and running into the ottoman. HEE HEE!

The end of the schoolyear

I can't believe it's the end of another school year already. It seems like just yesterday that I was dozing on post-surgery Vicodin while trying to prep the little munchkins for their first days. With the end of the year comes the award ceremonies and the programs. Here they are in all of their glory. . . .

Tyler earned the student of the month for the whole school for the month of April. He received his award in the local town hall meeting along with the other December-April award winners. They served pizza and cupcakes to all of the families.

His teacher has such nice things to say about him. What a good boy! We're so proud that he is a good example at school.

I also dusted off the old point and shoot with video capabilites and we headed to Paige's little music program at her school.

Here's the little diva owning the stage.

Going on a Bear Hunt

She's SO tall standing with all of her little friends. People were probably wondering who let the 2nd grader in. She's the bouncy one in the middle.

I love junk

Who doesn't love junk? After all. . . one man's trash is another man's treasure right. . .or lady's treasure. I love finding old nasty treasures in thrift stores and at yard sales and transforming them into something cool. Here are the finds of the week.

Bread box $4.99 at Goodwill (Spotted similar version at a local store for 38.00)
It was actually really clean, just needed a little paint and . . . .
She's as good as new. I may add a stencil to the front later on.

I also found this cute little basket for $.99.

And this oh-so-lovely little purse for $1.99. . . don't laugh if you were the one who threw it out/donated it. I think it has charm.

Here's what I've added to the front entryway along with the pictures of the family

I've also painted and the golfer and I. . . o.k. mostly the golfer. . . hung curtains in the living room. Now, I just need to add a little color.

Touchdown!

Well, he's gone and done it! He scored his first touchdown in a game yesterday. I would say he's a modest guy. If you try to congratulate him, or tell him how cool it was, he gets SOOO embarrassed. Shane told him that he should call Grandmas and Grandpas and tell them. No way, he said. What a cool cat.

They won the first game 13 to 12. The second game didn't go quite as good, but they kept up.
